The clamshell in sidelying is an amazing exercise for the hips. It could appear easy at first, but will get harder the more reps you do. More hip exercises:
To perform the clamshell in sidelying:
1. Lie in your side along with your knees bent forward where your heels are aligned along with your body.
2. Keeping your body perpendicular with the bottom, and never rotating your hips, lift the highest knee towards the ceiling, keeping your feet together. Slowly come back down.
