On this video, we’re going to debate how you’ll be able to fix a brief leg. There’s a muscle in your body called the quadratus lumborum. This muscle connects the last rib to the highest of the hip bone.
If the quadratus lumborum is simply too tight on either side, it’s possible you’ll notice a leg length difference or a brief leg. Tightness within the quadratus lumborum will be brought on by a fall or injury, causing the muscle to spasm and tighten up.
A heel lift will not be a viable solution for a brief leg. The truth is, lifting the heel could make the issue worse by driving the hip even higher.
