Fun fact: while I’ve all the time been into fitness, the explanation I began researching progressive calisthenics was due to my neck.
On the time, I used to be only doing pushups and figured I used to be neglecting other parts of my body, so I began on the lookout for a full body routine.
I used to be also having some nagging neck pain that I hoped some exercises could help.
I picked up Convict Conditioning (highly really useful read—the idea for a lot of exercises on this channel). The bridges were a nice surprise for my neck and helped alleviate the pain quite a bit.
It wasn’t until I read the sequel (Convict Conditioning 2) that was I used to be introduced to twist holds. When done consistently, these eliminate my neck pain entirely. I hope they will do the identical for you!
It is also a helpful mobility exercise that might help us in lots of athletic movements corresponding to throwing, punching, or anything that involves twisting.
